I have received so many emails from people about diets & training.
First of all, DONT diet!
Try to eat clean almost all of the time and have what we call "cheat" meals every now & then. No-one can feel good about constantly eating "bad" food. Processed, fatty food will catch with you later on, guaranteed! So, how about gradually changing how you think about food and what you are putting into your body. Here is a sample of what eat "off" season on a daily basis.
Training or just being active is a must. If you lead an active lifestyle, no matter if its hockey, football, gym or even a good 40 minute walk, then you are doing good for your body. Keep it up!
Breakfast: flavored oats with skim milk or an omlette with capsicum & tomato (5 eggs) Morning snack: 2 rice cakes with low fat cheese & a must have/well earned coffee! Lunch: Chicken breast, jasmine rice & steamed veges Afternoon snack: Banana on rice cakes (yes, Im addicted..another coffee too!) Dinner: Lean veal or Fish with sweet potato and steamed veges *********************************************************************************************************************
I always drink lots of water throughout the day.
For great flavor you can use pepper, lemon juice & other herbs & spices
My favorite vegetables are carrot, Zucchini & broccoli & my body really feels it when I don't get enough veges. Be good to your body and you will see & feel the difference. Your energy will sky rocket!

GET TO THE GYM & PICK UP THOSE WEIGHTS! You will NOT look like Arnie You will NOT look like a guy You will NOT "bulk up"
